  Abstract submissions

Only one abstract per author can be submitted. You may send more than one abstract in the event that these are submitted in collaboration with different authors.

During the closing ceremony, commendations will be given to the best presentations, posters and round tables. Certificates will be given at the closing ceremony of the congress. If an abstract belongs to several authors, certificates will be issued for each one of them.

Authors may opt to have their abstracts published in the book, which will be sold during the event and in specialized bookstores later on. To that end, the corresponding form should be filled in after the approval of the abstract.

IMPORTANT: Under no circumstances will abstracts be accepted for publication that have not been previously and duly included in the official congress program, either as oral presentation or poster.

Please note that all authors of the abstract, whether or not they attend the conference, shall be required to enroll and pay before June 6, 2016 in order to have your work definitively approved. If any of the authors do not pay the registration fee within the time limits set, the abstract won't be included in the program.

PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR AUTHORS OF ABSTRACTS

There is a deadline for payment for authors of accepted abstracts. There are no exceptions to this deadline. In case you may obtain a grant from a particular institution or company, we recommend you to initiate the proceedings as soon as possible, inasmuch as in due course, you will be asked for proof of payment or bursary, in order to include your abstract in the program.

 

Free communication sessions

Free communication sessions should not exceed a 10-minute oral presentation.

Abstracts must be submitted through the abstract presentation form.

There is no requirement that the subject of the paper should have a bearing on the congress title.

Oral presentations will take place on a date to be determined by the organizing committee. In case an abstract is submitted by several authors, only one of them will be in charge of the oral presentation, while questions may be answered by any of the authors.

Panels will be carried out as follows:

  • Round table sessions will last one hour.
  • Each table will be made up of four abstracts of ten minutes each.
  • Each spokesperson will read out their abstract and, once all the abstracts have been presented, the audience may pose questions or comments for the remaining 20 minutes.

If you are interested in having your work assessed in pursuance of being included in the book, send it before the due date using the corresponding form with due observance of the relevant requirements.

IMPORTANT: You may send items that have previously been submitted and approved for exhibition at this congress. In the event that the author submitted more than one article in collaboration with different authors, notwithstanding their approval, only one article will be published per author. If any of the authors do not pay the copyright assessment within the time limits set, the article won't be included in the book.

The book will be sold during the conference and then you may purchase it at specialized bookstores. It will have its corresponding IBSN number and will be officially recorded.

A copyright assessment must be paid, that will be refunded in case the item is not selected for publication.

Posters

Posters should be presented on a poster board of 90 cm high and 120 cm wide and they should be readable from a distance of 1 meter.

IMPORTANT: Prizes will be awarded for the best posters. Posters will be hung throughout the conference. They should be hung by the authors on rigid panels that will be provided by the conference organizers.

Date and time of exposure will be set by the congress organization.

The jury will visit the posters during the course of the conference without a predetermined schedule.

We recommend placing an envelope or a notebook so people can leave notes, questions, comments or contact cards.

Round table

Round tables should be made up of three speakers and one chairperson. The chairperson may be one of the speakers or some other person. The three speakers will be selected by the round table organizer. All participants must be registered for the congress. The round table discussion should be coherently organized and should last 60 minutes. Please ensure that 20 minutes are allotted for the question and answer session.

Issues addressed at round tables may not necessarily have a direct bearing on the theme areas of the congress.

Workshops should be made up of three participants and one coordinator. The coordinator may be one of the participants or some other person. All participants must be registered for the congress. Workshops should last one hour at most

Terms and conditions
Registration cancellations can be made up to 60 days before the congress opening. A 25% cancellation fee will be incurred for administrative expenses.

Persons who have submitted abstracts can cancel before May 3, 2016. A 25% cancellation fee will be incurred for administrative expenses.

No cancellations will be accepted after the set date. Refunds will be made ​​30 days after the congress.

IMPORTANT: No refunds shall be granted neither for the award of bursaries nor discounts obtained after payment (This applies for both attendants and authors who have paid in advance in order to present papers).
